Trade-platform users can lose time through avoidable submission errors and repeated clarification cycles.
Business Integration
A business-analytics-led copilot concept supporting users while preparing and submitting foreign-trade files.

Why it matters
My role
Trade-platform users can lose time through avoidable submission errors and repeated clarification cycles.
I contributed business framing, KPI design, analytical thinking, impact estimation, and the translation of insights into a prototype.
The project earned third place at the 2025 Smart Trade Challenge organized by PortNet and Rabat Business School.
Technical implementation
Each layer connects an implementation choice to the decision or workflow it supports.
05 layers| Layer | Implementation | Operational purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Problem framing | Trade-file journey mapping and friction-point identification | Locate where users lose time or submit avoidable errors |
| KPI design | First-time-right rate, correction cycles, processing time and support demand | Define measurable outcomes before proposing the solution |
| Decision support | Contextual in-platform guidance concept | Help users correct issues while preparing a submission |
| Prototype | Lightweight interaction flow demonstrating guidance within the PortNet journey | Make the proposed experience concrete enough to evaluate |
| Implementation path | Impact estimation, workflow integration considerations and phased delivery | Connect the challenge prototype to a realistic next step |
